Playoff Scenerios!
No jokes, no frills, no funny pictures here (ok, well, maybe a funny picture). It took me 2 days to make, I'm not sure it's correct, but my eyes are falling out of my head and I can't possibly play with these numbers any more. To the best of my ability, I present you the Week 12 Playoff Scenerios! (note that these scenerios are figured from the beginning of Week 12 and do not include any results from this week's Thursday games).
Also, the Week 13 matchup between the Boys of Summer and L.A. Ninjas is looking to be a huge, pivotal game with ramifications for many teams. This will be known as the Hartman Bowl for simplicity sake, because I'm going to reference it a lot.
Also remember: the first tie-breaker is total points scored, EXCEPT in the case of determining a division champion. If two teams have identical records atop a division, the Division Champion tiebreaker goes like this: 1) Divisional record, 2) Head-to-Head record, 3) total points scored.
CRITTENDEN DIVISION
Ice Cold Bruschi's (8-3, 3-1, 1630.05)
Has already clinched a playoff berth on account of the loser of the Hartman Bowl being uable to match I.C.B.'s worst-case record of 8-5.
Can clinch the Crittenden Division (and a 1st-round playoff bye) with a win this week vs. Most Murderous. With a loss, they can clinch the division with a Week 13 victory vs. Fireseed, paired with a Most Murderous loss to The Skyns.
Most Murderous (7-4, 3-1, 1712.63)
Can clich a playoff berth with a win, or being able to maintain a point lead over the Hartman Bowl loser.
Can clinch the Crittenden Division with 2 wins, or a win this week vs. I.C.B. paired with an I.C.B. loss in Week 13.
The Skyns (5-6, 1-3, 1672.48)
Eliminated from division championship contention.
With 2 wins, can clinch a playoff berth with all the following conditions:
A) Los Petates Mexicanos and CheektoWojo cannot win out (plus catch them in points)
B) Catch/maintain point lead over Hartman Bowl loser
C) C-Men lose at least once, or The Skyns catches them in points.
With 1 win, they can clinch a playoff berth with all these conditions:
A) L.P.M., CheektoWojo, and the Hartman Bowl loser must lose out (and the Skyns must catch/maintain point lead for all)
B) C-Men loses 1 game (and The Skyns catches them in points)
C) Andy's Red Hots and Fireseed lose once, or The Skyns maintains point leads
Fireseed (4-7, 1-3, 1403.61)
Eliminated from division champioship contention.
Can clinch a playoff berth with 2 wins, plus at least 1 loss by each of (C-Men, The Skyns, and Andy's Red Hots), plus 2 losses from 2 of the following 3 teams: (Los Petates Mexicanos, CheektoWojo, and the loser of the Hartman Bowl). In addition, needs to surpass all other 6-7 teams in points.
WESTWOOD DIVISION
Boys of Summer (6-5, 3-1, 1566.73)
Can clinch the Westwood Divisio crown with a Week 12 win paired with an L.A. Ninjas loss.
In all other Week 12 scenerios, they must win the Week 13 Hartman Bowl to clich the division.
Can clinch a playoff berth with 1 win, plus 3 of the 5 following situations:
A) Los Petates Mexicanos lose out, or win 1 with BoS catching them in points
B) CheektoWojo lose out, or win 1 with BoS catching them in points
C) BountyHunters lose out and BoS catches them in points
D) C-Men lose at least 1, or BoS catches them in points
E) The Skyns lose at least 1, or BoS catches them in points
Can clinch a playoff berth with 0 wins, plus 3 of the 4 following situations:
A) Los Petates Mexicanos lose out, and BoS catches them in points
B) CheektoWojo loses out, and BoS catches them in points
C) C-Men lose out, or lose 1 plus BoS catching them in points
D) The Skyns lose out, or lose 1 plus Bos catching them in points
L.A. Ninjas (6-5, 3-1, 1615.87)
Can clich the division title with one of two scenerios:
A) With a Week 12 win, the winner of the Week 13 Hartman Bowl will determine the division champion, or
B) Week 12 losses by both L.A. Ninjas and Boys of Summer, plus a Week 13 victory over the Boys of Summer, and a Week 13 C-Men loss to Syn City.
In non-division winning scenerios, can clinch a playoff berth with 1 win, plus 3 of the 4 following scenerios:
A) Los Petates Mexicanos lose out, or win 1 (plus catch them in pts)
B) CheektoWojo lose out, or win 1 (plus catch them in pts)
C) BountyHunters lose out and L.A. catches them in pts
D) The Skyns lose at least 1, or L.A. maintains point lead
Can clinch a playoff berth with 0 wins, plus 3 of the 4 following:
A) Los Petates Mexicanos lose out, and L.A. catches them in pts
B) CheektoWojo loses out, and L.A. catches them in pts
C) C-Men lose out, or lose 1 (plus catch them in pts)
D) The Skyns lose out, or lose 1 (plus catch them in pts)
C-Men (5-6, 1-3, 1672.48)
Can clinch the Westwood Division by winning 2 games, paired with a Boys of Summer loss to Syn City in Week 12, and an L.A. Ninjas win in the Week 13 Hartman Bowl. This would give the C-Men and the L.A. Ninjas identical records and divisional records, with the head-to-head tiebreak going to C-Men.
Can clinch a playoff berth with 2 wins and 3 of the 4 following situations:
A) CheektoWojo loses out, and C-Men maintains point lead
B) Los Petates Mexicanos loses out, and C-Men maintains point lead
C) Hartman Bowl loser loses out, or C-Men maintains point lead
D) The Skyns loses at least once, or C-Men maintains point lead
Can clinch a playoff berth with 1 win , and 3 of the 4 following situations:
A) CheektoWojo loses out, and C-Men maintains point lead
B) Los Petates Mexicanos loses out, and C-Men maintains point lead
C) Hartman Bowl loser loses out, and C-Men maintains point lead
D) The Skyns loses out, or wins 1 with C-Men maintaining point lead
Syn City (2-9, 2-2, 1373.09)
Has been eliminated from playoff contention
SANDRIDGE DIVISION
BountyHunters (7-4, 3-1, 1711.27)
Can clinch the Sandridge Divisio Crown and a 1st round playoff bye with 2 wins.
Can clinch the divisio with 1 win and either of these scenerios:
A) 1 win - over CheektoWojo i Week 12 (BountyHunters would win head-to-head tiebreak over CheektoWojo) plus 1 loss by Los Petates Mexicanos, (or)
B) 1 win - over Los Petates Mexicaos in Week 13, plus either:
a) CheektoWojo loss to Andy's Red Hots in Week 13, (or)
b) Maintain points lead over CheektoWojo (currently at ~100 pts)
Clinches a playoff berth with 1 win.
Clinches a playoff berth with 0 wins, and 3 of the 4 following situations:
A) Non-division winner between Los Petates Mexicanos/CheektoWojo loses 1, and BountyHunters maintains point lead
B) Hartman Bowl loser loses out, or BountyHunters maintains point lead
C) C-Men loses 1, or BountyHunters maintains point lead
D) The Skyns loses 1, or BountyHunters maintains point lead
Los Petates Mexicanos (6-5, 3-1, 1641.00)
Can win the division with 2 wins.
Can win the divisio with 1 win, paired with BountyHunters losing 2, and CheektoWojo losing 1.
Can clinch a playoff berth with 1 win, plus 3 of the 4 following situations:
A) CheektoWojo loses 2, or wins 1 and L.P.M. maintains point lead
B) Hartman Bowl loser loses 2, or wins 1 and L.P.M. maintains point lead
C) C-Men lose at least 1, or L.P.M. catching them in points
D) The Skyns loses at least 1, or L.P.M. maintains point lead
Can clinch a playoff berth with 0 wins, and 5 of the 6 following situations:
A) CheektoWojo loses out, and L.P.M. maintains point lead
B) Hartman Bowl loser loses out, and L.P.M. maintains point lead
C) C-Men loses 2, or wins 1 with L.P.M. catching them in points
D) The Skyns loses out, or wins 1 with L.P.M. maintaining point lead
E) Andy's Red Hots loses at least 1, or L.P.M. maintains point lead
F) Fireseed loses at least 1, or L.P.M. maintains point lead
CheektoWojo (6-5, 2-2, 1618.42)
Can win the division with 2 wins, paired with 1 Los Petates Mexicanos loss, and either:
a) BountyHunters lose to Los Petates Mexicaos in Week 13, (or)
b) BountyHunters Week 13 victory, with CheektoWojo passing them in points - (in this scenerio, the head-to-head tiebreaker is split at 1-1)
Can win the division with win vs. BountyHunters paired with a loss to Andy's Red Hots, and both:
a) Los Petatex Mexicanos loses 2 (or) L.P.M. loses 1, and CheektoWojo catches them in points (head-to-head tiebreaker is split), and
b) BountyHunters loses 2, and CheektoWojo catches them in points (head-to-head tiebreaker would be split due to CheektoWojo wining in Week 12)
Can clinch a playoff berth with 2 wins.
Can clinch a playoff berth with 1 win, plus 3 of the 4 following situations:
A) L.P.M. loses 2, or loses 1 (and CheektoWojo catches them in pts)
B) Hartman Bowl loser loses 2, or loses 1 (and CheektoWojo maintains pt lead)
C) C-Men loses at least 1, or CheektoWojo catches them in pts
D) The Skyns loses at least 1, or CheektoWojo maintains pt lead
Can clich a playoff berth with 0 wins, and 5 of the 6 following situations:
A) L.P.M. loses out, and CheektoWojo catches them in pts
B) Hartman Bowl loser loses out, and CheektoWojo maintains pt lead
C) C-Men loses 2, or wins 1 and CheektoWojo catches them in pts
D) The Skyns loses 2, or wins 1 with CheektoWojo maintainig pt lead
