Behind the Numbers - Playoff Edition

Here's a bit of facts and history from our statistics department:
Fact #1: With their 11-2 record, the C-Men have tied the AldenLeague record for best single season record ever, equaling the 2005 seasons for both CheektoWojo and The Skyns.
Fact #2: With their 10-3 record, Fireseed moves into a 4-way tie for 2nd best record of all time with '03 Fireseed, '03 Syn City, and '03 Mayumi (Brian Fix).
Fact #3: Considering Facts #1 and 2, the seven best records in league history were set over the course of only three individual seasons.
Fact #4: For the first time since the league expanded to 12 teams, the 6 playoff teams are also the top 6 points-scorers during the regular season.
Fact #5: Last season, Most Murderous ended the regular season on a 6-game losing streak, but made the playoffs. This season, they ended on a 3-game losing streak, but also made the playoffs.
Fact #6: The BountyHunters missed the playoffs for the first four years of their existence, but have now qualified for 2 years in a row.
Fact #7: Missing the playoffs this season, CheektoWojo broke their streak of 5 consecutive seasons of qualifying for the playoffs. Had they earned a playoff berth this season, it would've tied Fireseed for the longest such streak in league history (Fireseed qualified for the playoffs for 6 consecutive seasons, from 2000 through 2005).
Fact #8: This year, C-Men and Fireseed dominated the regular season. In the 2007 season, Fireseed and C-Men also had dominated the regular season. Fireseed finished with the league's best record, won the Mountain Division, scored the 4th-most points in league history, and entered the playoffs as the #1 seed. The C-Men scored the 2nd-most points in league history, and entered the season as the #4 seed (because the teams were in the same division). That year, both teams got blown out in their respective first playoff games, both by 35 points, both to Syn City. Luckily for them, Syn City did not qualify for the playoff this year.
Fact #9: This year's streakiest team is the Ice Cold Bruschis. After losing in Week 1, they won 2 in a row, then lost 6 in a row, then won 4 in a row. It seems to be good news for them that the streak is going in the right direction entering the post-season.
Fact #10: Divisional games matter! The 3 division winners combined for a 16-2 divisional record. However, their combined non-divisional record is only 12-9.
Fact #11: The Ice Cold Bruschis currently have the league's best single-game score of 221.32 (from wk 10 vs. Andy's Red Hots). Unfortunately, that's not good enough to get onto the all-time board - he falls just short of the #5 best-record of all time, a 223.58 effort by Puzan in wk 10 of 2004. The #2 best game of all time - a 225.94 output by Hoskyns in 2006 - also fell during week 10. There's something about week 10s that leads to big scores! (note: the Best Week money prize includes weeks 14-16, so Leonard's score isn't in the clear for this season just yet)
Fact #12: Andy's Red Hots - the highest scoring team in the league this year - is just 1-4 vs. other playoff teams this year.
