Week 13 - Day of Reckoning
This is it, guys and gals: the final week of the AldenLeague regular season. Top 6 teams advance to the Fantasy Bowl playoffs. Bottom 6 teams are left to fight for draft pick positions. It all comes down to Week 13 - the final divisional matchup week, and a rematch of Week 1.
Playoff Scenerios
*Reminder: the first tiebreaker after Won-Loss records is total points for all situations EXCEPT when deciding a division champion. In the event that teams have identical records at the top of the same division, the first tiebreaker becomes divisional record, with points scored as the second tiebreaker. Teams are listed in order of current league standings.
1. CheektoWojo (8-4, 3-2, 1st-Sandridge): Has clinched a playoff berth. Can clinch Sandridge Division title and first-round bye in the playoffs with victory over Los Petates Mexicanos -OR- a loss by Andy’s Red Hots to BountyHunters. Can clinch #1 seed and first-round bye in the playoffs with a victory –OR- a Boys of Summer victory -OR- a loss and Boys of Summer loss paired with 1. An Andy’s Red Hots loss, -AND- 2. The L.A. Ninjas either losing –OR- failing to catch CheektoWojo in total points in a victory (L.A. currently trails by 68.41 pts).
2. Boys of Summer (7-5, 3-2, 1st-Westwood): Can only clinch Westwood Division title with a victory over C-Men. Can clinch a playoff berth with a loss to C-Men, paired with losses by at least two of: L.A. Ninjas, Andy’s Red Hots, and Los Petates Mexicanos –AND- catching those two teams who lost in total points (currently trails L.A. Ninjas by 186.52, Andy’s Red Hots by 65.68, and Los Petates Mexicanos by 54.84).
3. The Skyns (6-6, 3-2, 1st-Crittenden): Can clinch the Crittenden Division title with a victory vs. Karate Xplosion, -OR- an Ice Cold Bruschi’s victory over Fireseed. Can clinch a #2 playoff seed and first-round playoff bye with ALL the following: 1. Victory over Karate Xplosion, 2. C-Men victory over Boys of Summer, 3. L.A. Ninjas loss to Syn City, and 4. Maintain points lead over C-Men (currently 6.04-pt lead). Is eliminated from a non-divisional title playoff berth possibility.
4. L.A. Ninjas (7-5, 1-4, 2nd-Westwood): Can clinch the Westwood Division title, #2 playoff seed and first-round playoff bye with victory vs. Syn City, -AND- C-Men victory over Boys of Summer. Can clinch #1 playoff seed with above scenario, -AND- CheektoWojo loss to Los Petates Mexicanos while catching CheektoWojo in total points scored (currently trail by 68.41). Can clinch a playoff berth with a win –OR- a Boys of Summer victory, -OR- a loss paired with at least 1 of the following 3 events happening: 1. Andy’s Red Hots loss, 2. Los Petates Mexicanos loss, 3. Boys of Summer fail to catch L.A. Ninjas in total points (Boys of Summer currently trail by 237.84 points).
5. Andy’s Red Hots (7-5, 3-2, 2nd-Sandridge): Can clinch the Sandridge Division title with victory vs. BountyHunters paired with a Los Petates Mexicanos victory over CheektoWojo. Can clinch a playoff berth with: 1. a victory vs. BountHunters, -OR- 2. a C-Men loss to Boys of Summer, -OR- 3. A loss to BountyHunters, a C-Men victory over Boys of Summer, paired with 1 of the following: (1. Maintaining points lead over Boys of Summer (currently leads by 65.68), -OR- 2. (a loss by Los Petates Mexicanos –AND- maintaining points lead over them (currently lead by 10.84))).
