Week 11 - Final Divisional Stretch
Week 11 means only three weeks left - against your three divisional opponents. Quick correction: CheektoWojo did NOT lose the points race lead to the L.A. Ninjas, as noted in last week's article. Was skewed due to Thursday results being unexpectedly updated. Get it on!
Week 10 Recap
So much for the game of the week! Fireseed scored the league high score for the third time in four weeks and beat Andy's Red Hots by the 5th greatest margin of victory in league history, 99.89. BountyHunters squeaked out a 4-pointer against Syn City, sending that fast-starting team to a 4-6 record. Boys of Summer dropped their fourth in a row, this time to CheektoWojo by 50. C-Men topped Ice Cold Bruschi's, the Skyns stopped Los Petates Mexicanos, and the L.A. Ninjas put away Karate Xplosion to round out the week.

Meet an AldenLeague Member - Mike Hartman
AL: So Mike, ready for your interview?
MH: Sure! E-mail me the questions and I'll get them back to you!
AL: Ok, great!
***end of the week***
MH: Sorry, I'm way too cool to come through on that whole interview thing. Hope you won't hold a grudge or try to make me look bad or whatever. By the way, I enjoy dressing up in women's clothing sometimes, and I love hairy men's genitals.
AL: Yeah, whatever, no hard feelings.
Game of the Week - Syn City (4-6) vs. Boys of Summer (5-5)
Ohh Week 4. Remember back that far? These teams sure do. Back when they were a combined 5-1, back when the 2008 season was all sunshine and rainbows (pun has NOTHING to do with...well, ok, yeah it does). Since then, hard times have fallen on the Florida State duo, and here as we enter the home stretch, a loss by either could be devastating to postseason dreams. As it stands, both teams are just out of the playoffs and looking up at division rivals L.A. Ninjas and C-Men, but one team is going to walk away with a hard-fought victory to add to their resume. After another whirlwind season of trades and transactions, the Boys of Summer's roster seems to have settled on the strength of their starting RBs, Matt Forte of Chicago and the finally-healthy Willie Parker of Pittsburgh. The team also gets back QB Matt Hasselbeck, who has missed some time due to injury, but appears ready to go at home against Arizona this weekend. Starting beside him is San Francisco QB Shaun Hill, a player who may be a wild card in this matchup. Not much is known about his potential in a Mike Martz-led offense with most unproven receiving talent around him, but a home game against the Rams this week might be just what the doctor ordered. Meanwhile, out in the High Desert, Syn City has had to deal with a changing RB situation of their own. Edgerrin James's role has been diminished unexpectantly, Ray Rice, Kolby Smith and Maurice Morris all held starting roles at one point this season but no do not, and Syn City starting RB Dominic Rhodes is still the #2 back on his team, despite his own moderate success. Meanwhile, Michael Turner continues to dominate, as does Atlanta teammate Matt Ryan, a pair of unlikely heroes who have carried this team. This week they take on Denver and the Broncos' porous defense. Syn City also had the only Thursday night player in this matchup, with WR Randy Moss pulling in just shy of 10 points.
